We work in conjunction with McAMS, which is an accident management service designed to keep you in control of your motorcycle, rather than having to use your insurance company which will take away your pride and joy.
All you need to do is contact us with the details of your accident and we will handle the rest in conjunction with McAMS, which will include arranging a hire vehicle for you so you need not worry about being able to get from A to B!
Every accident can be different, but below we have outlined the usual process when you use us to handle your specific situation.

STEP 1: CONTACT
First of all – Contact us
Try and gain as much information as possible (such as other driver details, registration, name, number etc) to begin with, as we will then ask McAMS to call you for this information.
STEP 2: ASSESSMENT
Once McAMS have received the information they will review the details and if they can deal with your case, they will contact you with the relevant information and proceed to step 3.
STEP 3: IN ACTION
If the accident has resulted in your vehicle being unroadworthy (i.e. will not pass an MOT and is unsafe for road use, no matter how ride-able it may / may not be), then we will arrange for size-for-size replacement hire vehicle to be delivered to you either at your home address or for collection here at Long Eaton Motorcycles. You can then use this vehicle until the process is complete.
Alternatively, if your vehicle is a write-off, then whilst we are in the process of arranging your cheque we will do our best to match the hire vehicle to your old one.
If your vehicle needs repair work, you can sit back and relax knowing it is in the very capable hands of Long Eaton Motorcycles, either doing the work ourselves in house, or sub contracted to one of our specialists should your vehicle require it.
STEP 4: SETTLEMENT
When the process is finished you will either receive your vehicle back looking brand new, or if it was a write-off then you will receive a cheque of the full retail value so you can replace your vehicle, which we can also help you find here at Long Eaton Motorcycles.
We will collect the hire vehicle whenever you are happy.
